Accelerated Reader Success
In the Primary Phase in Years 3-6 our pupils have made a great start with their reading and quizzing using Accelerated Reader. Our pupils read a book, take a quiz and then we celebrate with them what they have achieved. One of the ways we celebrate is by tracking their word count as they read books and celebrating with our award badges. The pupils get the following badges for reading a number of words:
50,000 words = Bronze Badge
250,000 words = Silver Badge
500,000 words = Gold Badge
1,000,000 = MILLIONAIRE badge
Unbelievably we've had one of our Year 5 pupils achieve their Millionaire badge already - and that's only since September!
