CCF Community Week
Selfless commitment and creating the next generation of good citizens is at the heart of what our schools CCF is all about and we all know that getting involved in the local community is a great way to make a difference.
The Cadet Forces held a Community Week Nationally from the 1st - 7th April 2019 offering cadets a chance to showcase the good work that they do within their local area. Chichester Free School CCF Army Cadets, led by the School Staff Instructor Gemma Le Roy rose to the challenge and went out to assist Swanfield Park in Chichester over the course of two mornings with the development of their Community Garden.
We received this wonderful email. "I want to say a very big thank you to your cadets for the community work that they carried out on half of A2Dominion and Spring. We were so impressed with their enthusiasm, conscientiousness and their hard work, especially working during the poor the weather conditions. So please thank everyone on our behalf, their hard work has had such an impact on our neighbourhood. We do hope that you will be able to come and join us again at Swanfield Park. Janet Read from A2dominion"
Well done to all involved.
