CCF First Aid Course success
On Sunday 2nd February 2025, 22 cadets from CFS CCF, including some from our new CCF partnership school Great Ballard, undertook a Youth First Aid Course. These cadets learnt how to recognise the signs and symptoms of lots of different conditions they might come across as a first aider, how best to treat these and how to promote recovery. They were assessed on their ability to effectively get help when calling 999 or 112, their use of the primary survey and the recovery position, treating a bleed and also in delivering effective CPR to a casualty. All participants passed the course and were awarded their St. John's Ambulance Youth First Aider badges. Well done to you all.
