CFS Students Shine in Muddy Cross Country Trials
Last Wednesday, CFS’s dedicated cross-country runners took on a challenging and muddy course, showcasing incredible perseverance and team spirit. All participants completed their trials within school and were then selected to attend the events. They did so impeccably demonstrating true grit and determination, even when faced with slippery, boggy conditions.
Amongst the brave competitors, four students stood out for their exceptional performances. These four athletes will now progress to represent West Sussex in upcoming events, marking a significant achievement for both the individuals and the school.
Coach Luke, who was on hand to support the runners, praised the team’s efforts, noting that every participant ran with guts and heart, embodying the values of perseverance.
CFS is incredibly proud of all the pupils who took part in the trials and they are excited to see the four talented runners represent West Sussex at the next level.
Well done to all who ran – your efforts are truly commendable!
