GCSE Business Studies Trip

Our GCSE Business Studies pupils have just returned from a wonderful 2 day trip to London.  They spent the first afternoon on a tour of the City of London (the infamous ‘square mile’),  learning all about the past and current livery companies, the Bank of England and the many insurance and financial institutions that are operating in the city. After a stop for dinner and a visit to Covent Garden, that evening they were treated to a night at the theatre, seeing Back to the Future at the Adelphi Theatre. They stayed overnight in Canary Wharf - another important business area of our Capital.

On the second day the pupils visited the South Bank of the Thames learning about the regeneration of the area for tourism and visited Borough Market (considered to be the oldest food market in London).  The tour ended with a walk down Regent Street - a major retail street in the west end of London.

What an amazing 2 days they have had.
