Girls Countdown Cricket Tournament
The girls’ cricket team returned after the half term with enthusiasm to compete in the Countdown Tournament, held on the first day back after half term. The event showcased impressive talent and determination, culminating in a strong fourth-place finish overall.
Notable performances included exceptional bowling skills from Willow, whose improved technique and deliveries played a crucial role in keeping opposing teams at bay.
In the batting department, Meryl stole the show with her explosive hitting, scoring multiple sixes that thrilled the team and boosted the momentum and moral.
Overall, the team’s collaborative effort and individual breakthroughs set a positive tone for any future fixtures. With continued practice and determination, the girls are well-positioned to build on this strong foundation in future competitions.
