Growing Hope Garden

Robyn, Katie, Abby and Jess from Chichester University took part in the Make Change Happen project and along with help from pupils across the school and Ms Skinner, they have totally transformed the garden area.

The pupils have created a serene, peaceful area where staff can enjoy their breaks. Alongside this, the beautiful new garden is also the home to our Growing Hope project, where a group of children who have experienced bereavement are able to go to reflect on their loved ones, as well as tending to the garden and learning about the cycle of life.

Moving forward, we are very lucky to now have this space for children across the school to learn the values, enjoyment and pleasure of the hard-work and achievement to be found in maintaining a garden.

Thank you so much to all involved so far. Thank you also for the generous offers of donations to improve and grow our garden. Everything gratefully received.
