Poppy making
The House Ambassadors have been painting poppies this morning for Friday's commemoration of Armistice Day. The pupils are attempting to build a poppy display which is a huge poppy wall drape and stand up poppies similar to the Tower of London display. The display is going to be made up of recycled bottle lids, reclaimed foam, buttons and donated garden canes.
We even had some primary pupils helping out as well which was just wonderful. We can't wait to see the final display.
Remember that pupils will have the opportunity to get a poppy or other memorabilia all this week, in exchange for a donation to the Poppy Appeal.
