Remembrance 2023
To commemorate Armistice Day, the School, led by Mrs New, Captain Cook, R Carter Sqn Ldr Retd, and some of our prefects held a remembrance ceremony in the Carmelite Hall which was also live streamed to the whole school in their classrooms.
Isabel Deans played the Last Post and the Reveille and Cadet Lance Sergeant Aaron Dunne laid a wreath.
Children across the school have been encouraged to make display pieces for the service as part of a House Event. They were a stunning backdrop to the ceremony.
On Saturday, Cadet Lance Sergeant Cleghorn Blair, Cadet Corporals Angell and Rose and 2LT Dascalopoulos and Captain Cook spent the day collecting for the Royal British Legion outside Waitrose.
Then on Sunday the CCF, together with pupils across the school, were proud to take part in the Remembrance Parade through Chichester where Cadet Lance Sergeant Thomas and Cadet Bailey laid wreaths.
