Rising Stars Shine in Rotary Young Chef Competition
Following the success of our first round of the Rotary Young Chef competition, we hosted the local final in school, where five talented young chefs; Lucas B, Ava M, Fergus M, Jake R, and Elspeth PW competed for a place in the next stage.
After an intense cook-off, Ava, Fergus, and Elspeth impressed the judges and secured spots in the District Final which was held at Merton College on the 2nd of February.
Demonstrating exceptional skill and creativity, Fergus M achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the District Final with his delicious menu: Jamaican chicken curry with corn fritters and a delicate apple soufflé. Fergus now advances to the Cluster Final, which will take place at Southdowns College on the 8th of March.
We are incredibly proud of all the pupils who took part and showcased their talent. A huge congratulations to Fergus and we wish him the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition!
