Sixth Form Visit to the UCAS Fair in Brighton
On Thursday 25th April the Year 12 attended the UCAS exhibition in Brighton. At this event over 150 universities and higher education institutions were represented which allowed the students to visit representatives of the universities they are considering attending, collect information and talk to admission tutors. UCAS opens for Year 12 students to start applying for 2020 entry in May. In addition to the university stands, students could choose to attend a range of talks on Applying to University through UCAS, Student Finance, creative careers, student life, careers in sport, careers in business, applying to Oxbridge and apprenticeships.
The day was very successful and has helped to kickstart the thinking and planning needed by our Year 12 students as they consider their future once they complete Year 13.
