Sparx Reader Trip
Last week, Mrs Bourner and Ms Higgins took a group of pupils to see The BFG at Chichester Festival Theatre. These pupils were selected because of their amazing efforts with Sparx Reader so far this year and are our highest-scoring pupils for SRP.
SRP (Sparx Reader Points) are earned by completing reading activities accurately on Sparx Reader, showing real dedication and commitment to reading.
The pupils had a wonderful time watching the fantastic stage production of The BFG, and the puppetry was incredible. One pupil commented, “It was really fun and a great reward for our hard work.”
It is truly wonderful to be able to reward our pupils’ hard work with such enriching experiences, creating lasting memories and inspiring a love of learning beyond the classroom.
