Year 2 in Portsmouth
Year 2 had an exciting visit to the historical Portsmouth Dockyards, where they sketched the famous HMS Warrior. They boarded HMS Victory, exploring its weapons, maps, the captain’s cabin, and the surgeon’s quarters. At the museum, the children enjoyed hands-on exploration, gaining a deeper understanding of life at sea. They also met Pete Codling, the artist who spent three years sketching local heroes on the sail of a ship—an inspiring experience!
