Year 4 Trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace
Year 4 had a fantastic Roman day at Fishbourne Roman Palace on Monday 17th September. The pupils were introduced to life as a Roman where they took part in an interactive workshop. They got to dress up, play Roman games, write using Roman wax tablets and cook like a Roman. The afternoon was spent walking through the grounds of the palace where they went in a mosaic hut and explored the gardens, learning about what food would have been grown in the palace grounds to eat or use for medicinal purposes. It was a brilliant day to immerse the Year 4 into their 'Gruesome Gladiator' learning experience.
