Year 7 & 8 Girls Rugby Festival
On Tuesday we took 13 girls to a Year 7 and 8 rugby festival and they were absolutely fantastic!
In the morning they took part in a skills carousel which included; scrum practise, defence skills, tackling and a touch game. After a quick lunch they then went into three full contact games to finish the tournament.
We played three games in the afternoon, with one loss, one draw and one win, captain Jemima Keen scored numerous tries as well as Luna G, Amelia A and Kate-Lynne S. The girls were an absolute pleasure and I have given them all R4s for their determination, sportsmanship and willingness to learn new skills.
