Year 9 Girls Football
CFS Year 9 girls represented the school in the Under 14s football league with a match against Bourne Community College. Despite the 4-2 result the girls put in an outstanding performance which impressed the other team and other students watching.
Our Captain, Maddie K, showed great leadership skills and passion for the team by making sure they were warmed up and ready for the match. The CFS team continued to put BCC under pressure, stopping attacking play and creating many opportunities for goals.
Mae H scored the first goal of the match with an excellent strike. Our second goal was scored by Georgia H with a fantastic pass hitting the back of the net. This was an amazing moment for the team and Georgia herself. Our goal keeper, Isla J, also showed huge improvements with some outstanding saves.
This was an exceptional game to watch and the CFS girls really stood out for their participation, effort and support for each other.
