Recruitment Procedure
Our recruitment procedures take every precaution to ensure that we are satisfied that the applicant is a fit and proper person to work with children.
If you are short-listed for interview, your referees will be asked to provide references and you will be expected to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. All successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
If you know that you are barred from work with children (i.e. you are on List 99, the PoCA List or have a Disqualification Order, or from October 2009, that you are on the ISA barred lists), you should not apply to work with children.
Any job offer will be subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks. For further information about safer recruitment see our Safer Recruitment Policy below.
CFS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The School expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. In order to safeguard and promote the welfare of its students and ensure that risk of harm is minimised, we employ a safer recruitment policy which complies with national guidance.
