Year 7 English and Maths Teacher
Dates: September 2025 start
Salary: MPS/UPS
Contract type: Full time
As an All-Through school we have created a bespoke middle school model in Years 5-7. In Year 7 pupils have one teacher for a prolonged period each day covering both the English and Maths curriculum. This supports both academic and pastoral transition and, moving into its seventh year of implementation, we have seen a hugely positive impact on pupil outcomes and wellbeing.
This role has come about, due to the popularity and growth of the school – next academic year we will be welcoming an additional class into the CFS Secondary phase. Whilst the majority of the role will be in Year 7, there will be opportunities to also support other pupils in Key Stage three with literacy and numeracy interventions and to spend most afternoons covering PPA in the Primary phase of CFS.
This is a full time position. The successful candidate may be either an upper Key Stage 2 or Secondary specialist, able to teach the Year 7 English and Maths curriculum.

A formal contract will be issued once the successful applicant has been appointed. It will be offered subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS, formerly CRB) check.
