Parent GovernorAs one of the founding teachers, CFS holds a special place in my heart. I was Head of Physical Education and Noctua for four years since it opened in 2013. My wife has also been a member of staff at CFS since the opening year and my two children now attend CFS.
Aside from the use of technology in education, my particular interests are in PE and Sport. I have seen first-hand how sport has a lasting impact on health and confidence. Outside of the sporting area, I am interested in STEM and how the children at CFS can benefit fully from the all-through nature of the school. When not working, I am usually found renovating my house. I am also a keen scuba-diver and when not under the water, I enjoy running with our dog.
I have enjoyed supporting the School’s Christmas and Summer Fairs and throughout the year as a Parent Ambassador. CFS is more than just the school my children go to, it was an important part of my life for almost five years and it is still a special place for me, my wife and my children. Not only do I believe in the school values, I helped shape them in the early days and it is my pleasure to continue to do so as a Governor.
